Turns out the rear suspension crossmember subframe on the vehicle I purchased was rotted out. Due to how thick this K-Frame is, it is LITERALLY impossible for 2 Syracuse winters to completely destroy it. Not only was it rotted out, rubber caulk was used to fill gaps in the rotten K-Frame and to hide rotted welds. It was so rotted and thin I could bend it by hand. We're very happy with Upstate Auto Gallery, and will definitely browse their inventory the next we need a used vehicle (hopefully not for a while, but we'll remember!).
