I started going to Em in my third trimester of my second pregnancy. It was my first time getting Chiro and my initial reaction was, “I didn’t have to feel like crap this whole time?!” Seeing her instantly relieved lower back and pelvic discomfort and significantly reduced the amount of back labor I had in labor. Her knowledge about the body and how it functions in pregnancy/postpartum brought so much comfort mentally and physically and I’d highly recommend her when other methods just aren’t cutting it.
I started as a skeptic, but now I’m a true believer! After suffering for months through hip, back and knee pain that prevented me from doing just about anything without discomfort, my friends convinced me to go see Dr. Emily at Upstander. We love Dr. Em. She's literally changed me and my family's life. I've struggled with back pain for over a decade, no more. My husband's migraines are gone, and his high blood pressure has improved. I am extremely impressed how Dr. Em treats my maladies. I trust her and visit twice a week. She diagnoses my maladies perfectly. Her bedside manner is excellent. Her treatments also give me energy when I need it. Somehow by feeling my neck and spine she knows how to adjust me. I look forward seeing her and she has been treating me for 6 or 7 years
