Steve the owner was extremely knowledgable about my antigues, restored them with great care and excellent workmanship. He also met a very short deadline for completions, causing him to burn the midnight oil. Also, he honored his origional quote even though there was a surprise, after all it was an antique! I have used upright upholstery to re-upholster two chairs that had been in my family for years. The first time I used them was in 2005. They did such a wonderful job that this year when my sister and I had to re-upholster a chair from a jointly owned summer home I suggested we go there. Steve is incredibly knowledgeable. He could tell us the age of the chairs and give us information about how they were made. He also prides himself on "rebuilding" the chairs to restore its unique structure.
