I just got off the phone with the owner. He was really helpful, gave me an estimate right over the phone and offered a suggestion that would save me money, even though he wouldn't get my business.

I contacted Upright Upholstery about reupholstering chairs that would meet CAL 133 fire code for the city of Boston for a function hall. Steve was very helpful in providing me information about the fabrics, interior materials, costs and how to make sure that it meets fire code requirements. Another great job by Steve and his crew restoring a family heirloom piece. My fathers wingchair has been stored in the barn for 25 years and was torn to pieces by "critters". He stripped it down to the bare bones and made it into a chair we can pass on through many more generations. I couldn't believe it was the same piece. Thanks again- we will be back with more!
We had our kitchen sofa reupholstered. Knowing the heavy traffic location in our home, they advised on fabric durability and made sure the frame and springs were reinforced and strong. Excellent workmanship, extremely conscientious, quick turnaround (2 weeks including ordering fabric), competitively priced. Very happy, highly recommended.

My great-grandfather was a master upholsterer, so when I was given a few family heirlooms that needed to be updated for my home, my family recommended Upright Upholstery. Steve did an absolutely amazing job restoring a family heirloom chair from shattered to absolutely fabulous. He worked extra weekends to have it completed for a Christmas gift. He is exceptionally talented and was priced reasonably for the wonderful work that he does. I would highly recommend his services.
