I have had several visits over the years at this location. The physical therapists have always been professional, knowledgeable, and caring in their patient treatment and education. I have known several patients that have had the same positive experiences.
I saw Brooke and Robin for a balance problem I was having earlier this year in Physical Therapy. Brooke and Robin were great. Brooke worked through part of her lunch break to get me in for my initial appointment and both of them went above and beyond to make sure I received the best care possible. In the past, my sister and father have also seen therapist at outpatient north in Piqua. Heather, Angie, and Robin have all taken great care of my family. Linda K, Roberta R, along with the admin staff at UVMC have been exceptional to work with. Linda and Robin in a particular have worked extensively with me after a Labrum (slap) repair surgery and subsequent bicep tendon tear surgery. They have displayed a high level of knowledge and training, and answer all of my numerous questions about my care. My girlfriend is going there, she had shoulder and bicep surgery done. First off, between her surgeon and this place miscommunication she didn't start pt til 3 weeks ago..pt had her as 4 cancelations before she even started..her surgery was almost 3 months ago! Obviously her shoulder locked up because lack of pt, which neither the surgeon or this place is taking any blame and covering there butt's. Let me start by saying I went to the Troy Rehabilitation Center instead of the Piqua Looney Road one. I was there on time and checked in and everything when I was told I was supposed to be at the other facility. I still have the stickers 11/29/23. So I was told by a neurologist after being released from Upper Valley spinal and neurology, with spinal lesions and a spinal disease to start physical therapy at this facility.
