Pricey and Not Very Good Cheese sticks were great. Ordered steak calzone and special ordered a calzone with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and peppers. Be very careful of ordering anything other than what is listed on the menu. Two calzones and bread sticks at lunch totaled a whopping 27.00 dollars! Figured the special order calzone was about 12.00 dollars. Calzone crust was good but the inside was unevenly distributed. A nice change from the usual I went to this place a couple weeks ago just to get out of the usual Lynchburg places that I eat (as you can tell from all of my reviews). It was a pleasant surprise. This is a small place that has a lot of personality. It only seats about 20-30 people at the most. It had an almost small-town feel to it since it's apparently frequented by Wyndhurst residents, many of whom the employees knew by name. The food was very good. Great pizza and very friendly employees. We recently moved from another state and Upper Crust was the first pizza place we tried. I won't go anyplace else now. The pizza is definitely the best I have had in years and we eat a lot of pizza at our house. I am so glad we found them.
Yummy Pizza I love Upper Crust and do think it is the best pizza in town. It is a little pricier than others because they don't offer all of the deals that the chains do; but I try to support the local businesses. I do think their staff could be a little friendlier and have a neater appearance.
