My review was hidden. This place is quite possibly one of the worse facilities I have ever been to. Staff is ancient, and runs off of a play book from 1970s due to their only prescriber being 300 years old.
So, if you pay cash, they'll see you. If you want you use insurance, nahhh.
Last therapist, who was the head one, insulted, screamed at me, and told me I would be just like my mentally ill family before she retired. Corporate I think was not managing things right since the pandemic so she redirected her nastiness on me - and then she retired. Had to hide things from her since I couldn't trust her. Then my mental health collapsed after half a year of disasters from this place. Was good in 2019 and prior, now is probably worse than no therapy.
Today has been the final straw in what has been a mental struggle I've carried for over six years with this place. I feel compelled to recount my experience over the past 12 years at Upper Bay-Havre de Grace. My journey with Upper Bay began after a stay at the Behavioral Health Unit of the now-closed Harford Memorial Hospital, following a mental health crisis. If you care about getting better, having a stable mental health team, and not being told by your psychiatrist that he "Is at a loss for what to do." Then don't come here. This facility is here to take money from Medicare and Medicaid and not actually help you in anyway. After almost a decade in this out patient program with the same doctor and over a half dozen different therapists i'm completely at a loss.
