I do not understand why people like this place. They are a turn them and burn them type. Like a factory, in and out. Make you feel bad if you don’t pay with cash. I waited 17 mins waiting for my “free massage” after my service-no one ever came. There is no quality. I do not recommend.
I drove my wife and daughter to an appointment at Uponavon, planning on scrolling on my phone and waiting for them to be done. But they talked me into getting a pedicure and massage. It was excellent! Since then I have returned for many more services! The staff are excellent and truly want you to have a good experience! I highly recommend Uponavon to everyone!
I will never go to another salon! The nail artists who work at Uponavon are professional, kind and extremely talented. I have had two knee surgeries and knowing this, they always hold my arm to walk. I am in awe of the owner and how she keeps everything moving, fits people in who don't make an appointment, answers the phone and still makes the clients not only feel welcome but treasured. I have been coming to Upon Avon Nail Spa for three years now ever since they opened. The owner Grace cares so much for every person that comes into her salon. She tries to know everyone's services by heart and even works to know everyone's names. It is by far the best services I have gotten in the entire Farmington Valley. I have gotten acrylic, uv gel, regular and gel manicures, and dip powder. For pedicures, the cucumber pedicure is a must! Complete unprofessional, never coming back. I left in a rush and asked if I can return at an exact time for the second service, they said not a problem. Returned, no one helped me find the color- the person who did the first service got.up, picked a random color from the rack and said it was that one.
