Had a deep cut on my toe that needed stitches. Doctor comes in, glances at it and tells me he'd like an xray of my toe to rule out break or foreign object in wound. I had zero pain in toe, no bruising, and able to move it. As for the presence of a foreign object, the wound is so huge that you can visibly see there is nothing in it. He refused to suture basically telling me that it would be too painstaking of a process for him.
