I went here for physical therapy for herniated discs in my cervical spine. My symptoms did improve during treatment, but I wanted to avoid surgery later in life and wanted to heal the damaged discs, which PT cannot do. I ultimately discontinued PT to try the Disc Institute of Pittsburgh and I highly recommend that over PT. They restore the natural physiology of the spine so that the discs can heal themselves and you can avoid surgery. I could not speak more highly of Rowan, I’d give 10 stars if I could. I’m ordered pelvic floor therapy and from the first moment I met them, I was instantly comfortable. She took the time to explain why my doctor ordered therapy, anatomy and physiology of muscles, and what the plan would be for the visit and future visits. I had an ankle replacement and on my Facebook page with other total ankle replacements , people state that in therapy nobody knows how to treat the site. At umpc rehab ,I'm so lucky to have the best professional staff taking care of me.i have improved 100% since being in there care.thank you
