Excellent Services too though....
It’s always frustrating using UPMC!!! Every time I google a ph number for York, PA and call it I get someone for the Pittsburgh area who transfers me to a bogus hold line where I wait FOREVER and no one picks up. The one time I got through on a scheduling line I could only leave a voicemail message, which the introduction said to leave a message and someone would call back. No such luck there either! I brought my husband who is 77 years old to the ER on 9/27/25 with a swollen right leg and severe pain. He could barely walk and we sat for over 5 hours waiting to be seen. All they did was take blood pressure and someone gave him a shot for the pain. He was never taken back to a room and finally we were called to registration where we were told their "new system" was not working right.
