I made an appointment with what I thought, was UPMC. I was feeling so sick that I stayed at the facility. Rebecca the PA was outstanding and very thorough. The med tech/nurse was also very good and covered everything.
3 people sitting behind front counter just chatting away one playing on her phone having a very loud conversation about there personal lives. 7 people sitting in waiting area to be seen. People coming in and leaving because the wait will be over an hour, have been here for more than 30 min already. People in the lobby asking how long and told they will get to you. and was told have no Idea at this point.
I can't get a hold Of the office or talk to a person. Every time I try it hangs up on me, I have urgent questions about my lab results As well as questions about the medication.I'm on and the side effects I'm experiencing. This is ridiculous.
Everyone from the receptionist and officers in the lobby to the entire medical staff were wonderful! Especially Tiera (not sure of spelling) who was my primary. She was absolutely fantastic. Could not have been more caring or compassionate. She did a wonderful job medically too. Explained everything she was doing and answered any questions. She even heard my son ask if I wanted a Pepsi and she came back with a can and some ice. So kind. This was my first visit to the hospital and I felt like I was in the best hands!
