I had a few appointments at this office for blood clots .. since reclotting this office gave me a medication that my body can not tolerate.. there is an alternative and they told me they don't like to prescribe it ??? What ???? It's either their way or no way ... They don't like to problem solve .. they add to it .. if you feel like you have to travel for good care ... Go somewhere else ..
Having cancer is so hard. It's hard on me and of course my family too. My experience at Hillman, New Castle has been very positive in such a difficult time. Dr Chad Smith has been wonderful to me and my husband. He takes his time and explained everything. He has worked with my surgeons and he really put me on the right path to recovery. The nurses that administer my chemo and labs could not be any better. Cathy, Missie, Amanda, Doug, Jessica, Beth and Jodi have been wonderful. I hope I didn't miss anyone. I will have to say, after reading some of these comments, I was very hesitant about coming to the center with my mother-in-law for her treatment. However, location was good for us and we heard great things about Dr. Smith. I couldn’t be happier with the level of care from both the doctor and the staff at this location. Please don’t let these reviews scare you away! This is a great facility and they have always been prompt with treatment and appointments. We couldn’t be happier.
To the FEW very good people that work there, thank you. Dr Smith is knowledgeable and professional That being said, the few good people that work there cannot compensate for the rest of the TERRIBLE staff. They are uncaring, unprofessional, rude, and exceedingly judgmental, even before they get to know a person.
