Do not recommend. 2 weeks and ct results still not read. Nurses are rude when you can get one on the phone. Go to 611 mri. Nicer and faster results.
I think the lab tech needs more training. She filled the tubes, then left the last one on the needle and pulled it out. It made a horrible suction sound. I had an immediate hematoma. As a nurse, I always removed the last tube before pulling out the needle.
Well I deleted my previous post because they finally did their jobs. Then I go last week for an eeg, was told a day or two for results, here we are a week later AND NO RESULTS AGAIN. Let me guess, now neurology is short staffed and thats the reasoning. I am now DONE with upmc! So here's the previous review also. Dr. Scott and Dr. Derrick are both outstanding! Back in 2024, Dr. Scott diagnosed my ear infection after a previous misdiagnosis and prescribed allergy medication that cleared everything up quickly. More recently, I visited with stomach pain, and Dr. Derrick conducted swabs and urine tests. The results came back positive for an infection, and he started me on antibiotics. I returned today for follow-up testing, and he took the time to listen to a couple of new symptoms before retesting. Now I’m just waiting on the results.... read more
Horrible doctors and patient care. Every doctor I have had through this medial facility has been garbage, just like every other UPMC facility. What doctor tells you that they won't discuss your concerns? Edit: I reached out as instructed. They blew it off and said that she didn't mean that, that it was a typo. So, I will be going forward with a lawyer for medical malpractice.
