I visited the UPMC outpatient clinic for some hip related issues and had an x-ray done and spoke with a doctor and as I entered the building and spoke with them upfront, they asked for you know my typical information such as my insurance card and so I know that they had that, but they chose not to run my insurance either for my hospital charges or my physician charges. I've seen every doctor in this facility and I'll be the first to attest how amazing the staff is. I'm every field from allergist to the ENT to the lab, and the orthopedic doctors. I've had nothing but outstanding professionalism and kindness from the doctors and all of the staff in every department. A huge thank you to each and every one of you!
The phone number listed is for a medical lab and not UPMC doctors, receptionist or message of services and phone numbers of them contained in that medical complex. One of UPMC many cost cutting services to save money.
I sit in the patients room, not the waiting room, for over 45 minutes every single time I come here. Every time. Always takes 45 minutes from the time the nurse who checks our information walks out til the doctor comes in.
