While needing the services of Hospice is a difficult time in a family’s life we were very fortunate to find and choose Uplift Hospice. Monika was my Mom’s nurse and Jennifer P her CNA. Both treated my mom with respect, dignity and kindness. My mom truly looked forward to their visits. My family had a horrendous experience with three RN's at Uplift. We discourage anyone from trusting Uplift with their loved ones. Too many details to even list all of the unprofessional events. If you want professional, compassionate leadership from a hospice agency, you must look elsewhere.
Kiersten Patrick has been amazing in helping my family navigate our new situation. She has been an excellent at communicating and keeping me up-to-date on every step of what’s happening with the care of my ex husband. She is compassionate, understanding, and empathetic. She has kept me well informed of his needs, progress and certain steps that will make his recovery more successful. She is truly an asset to your organization and to my family!
Unfortunately our family experience was not acceptable. In short, communication between the staff and our family was lacking , but worse the communication between the onsite caregivers and internal doctors bordered on negligence. Finally, the last day of our family members life we called their "emergency " number in the morning asking someone to come out , no one came. Kiersten is awesome! She went out of her way to help my dad find the best memory care, answer questions, and helped educate my family and I on what's best way to navigate the Medicare system for my dad. I highly recommend Kiersten.
