To drive an hour from New York to Pittsfield MA for an appointment that was accepted and then to be standing outside awaiting the shop to open only to receive a cancellation 14 minutes before the appointment was scheduled is BAD Business. Why not have the courtesy of directly reaching out with enough time so that someone can at least move their plans around or try to reschedule if the business of the customer is of any value? Beautiful place nice barbers. Just extremely hard to get appointment. I have made appointments and was stood up with know call or text. Sit out front on 4 occasion for 30 minutes and nothing. When I do get in very satisfied.

This is as good as it gets. I've probably been to a dozen barbers in Pittsfield and frankly been dissatisfied with all – except this one. It is immediately evident that Carleton knows exactly what he is doing. Technically, he is careful, precise, thoughtful, and understands the craft to an unusual extent. The results were superb, among the best if not the very best haircut I've ever had. His studio is spotless, well lit, orderly, comfortable, and relaxing.
