A huge shoutout to owner Frank and coordinator Rene; they were a dream to work with, demonstrating incredible flexibility and grace in managing our last-minute changes. We were quite torn over our experience with Upland Events & Banquet Center. Our family has an event here and we loved the fact that they are an all-one-option. However, for a venue that (presumably) does events multiple times per week, we were surprised at some of the issues we experienced. Our biggest disappointment was definitely with the DJ (wrong songs, lack of proper lighting, and odd energy when making announcements) , with other things being more odd (based on their presumed experience).
