I found Dean from Upbeat Entertainment from their Facebook page here in Helena. I was nervous at first because I didn’t see this company on the usual wedding planning sites (the knot, etc) and the last review was over a year ago. However, his team and him knocked our 9/13/25 wedding out of the park! I had so many guests tell me that they were one of the best DJs they’d seen at a wedding. Dean and his team recently did my wedding in May at the Kleffner. From the consultation meeting to the day of the wedding, everything was awesome. Highly recommend Dean, he was helpful in the planning process, good communication, and understood expectations/vibes. My guests had so much dancing as well as playing games!
We had the pleasure of using UpBeat Entertainment for my son's wedding in July. Dean is an absolutely fantastic DJ, and was helpful from everything to offering great suggestions during rehearsal dinner walk through to keeping our guests engaged and dancing well into the night. We had so many people compliment us on this amazing DJ. Will continue to recommend him again and again!
We used UpBeat Entertainment at my youngest daughter's wedding in 2021 and was very happy with the results and the advice/suggestions we were given by the DJ based off of his experience. So when our other daughter and her fiance' were planning their wedding, I highly recommended them. The DJ and his wife were great from start to finish!
Dean and his wife did an amazing job at our wedding. He showed his experience at our initial meeting when he brought up so many ideas to incorporate into our day. His guidance helped both our rehearsal and wedding day go smoothly. His setup during our ceremony was excellent, allowing guests to hear every word even with windy weather. He intermixed our custom playlist and sprinkled in our favorite songs at all the right moments. Fantastic, would 10/10 hire him again!
