Thank you for the last 4 days!! The beds had cozy. Blankets, which my wife appreciated. The showers had good pressure and the water was hot! Loved the big, solid kitchen table. Last night cookies were a BONUS!!!! I APPRECIATED the trail maps. Trails were excellent, Gwinn, Munising, Big Bay, where ever we went we had excellent trails!!! Beautiful place run by beautiful people We had an issue with ants and they jumped right on it. When the first solution didn’t work, Angie came over on crutches (totally impressed) And brought a completely organic spray that she made herself and it worked. As a consumer and someone who was previously in the customer service industry, I was thoroughly impressed by their prompt, professional and courteous customer service.
Had a great experience last June at Sunrise. Beautiful lake, large place for our brood, and the sauna was a plus. There was a pontoon boat we rented and was just a perfect family vacation. Many thanks to Angie for her availability and a terrific place. 10 of 10 recommend. Next time we’re in the UP this is our top choice.
Lucky to have found this beautiful gem in the UP for a long weekend. We made a last minute decision to chase waterfalls in October and U. P. sunrise cottages were Fantastic!. The cabin had everything we needed. Our hosts Angie & Jeff thought of everything you need. From the sauna, firepit, water toys and stocked kitchen -- it was pure relaxation. The cabin was clean and the king size bed soooooo comfortable. We slept so well. Angie even delivered chocolate chip cookies to us on day 1. So nice. Please support those family own... read more
My cousin and I each booked a cabin the two larger cabins. Together we had 4 adults and 8 children ranging in ages from 9-16. Not one child was bored. We spent our days swimming, kayaking, paddle boats, yard games and more! As a parent you can sit next to the water and see your children from all angles. We also loved being able to have a bonfire at night while play yard games with the kids. They provide so much we didn’t have to haul extra.
