It’s disheartening when people, often at their most vulnerable, seek support and are met with indifference and delays. Despite proactive efforts to ensure all necessary information is provided, the ball is repeatedly dropped. I've been getting the run around since the beginning of December in reference to a hospital insurance claim I filed. After submitting the requested documents, my claim was closed and I was told by UNUM to contact my employer for further explanation, in which I did... My employer was confused so they contacted UNUM and got back to me saying it was a billing error on UNUM'S end and I am good to go.
