Paying into this insurance just to deny me a claim when a medical professional deemed me unable to work. I also have life insurance through these guys...probably will deny my wife benefits when i pass because im not dead enough.

Make sure you contact your HR leader does not choose these organization for your benefits, They are the worse they have no qualify personnel to take care of critical conditions. Also they offer no direct communications to the person making your decisions. Not sure if Richard McKenney is AWARE or CARES his company is a big disappointment maybe they should be exposed to the media.

This is the first year our company has worked with UNUM, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. Payments are frequently delayed, and there have been instances where benefit calculations appear to be inaccurate. In addition, the company repeatedly requests additional information, which only prolongs the process and delays payments even further.
