Unum is by far the worst insurance company I have ever ever dealt with when working for a company. They are completely inept slow not attempted to detail and have the worst customer service.
No one has ever answered the phone. I cant support a Company, especially an Insurance company that may not be there when one may need them.
Unum is a Terrible insurance and Marybeth is a terrible case worker, very inconsistent never Able to get them on the phone Horrible communication. They’re just trying to get rid of clients who really do need this insurance that’s why we signed up. It needs to be illegal what Unum is doing to people. It’s life changing and emotional draining. Haven’t received payment in over a month and a half. Debbie Cruise will not respond to my calls or voicemails. I would turn around if your thinking using them as a provider.
