Never ever a worse experience. One of the worst part about being disabled isn't the shame, or the bills, it's dealing with theses "people". More like robots. It was bad enough they scammed me out of money, they stole hours of my life dealing with their incompetent customer service. Prime example of how not to treat hurt or sick people.

They denied to pay for a dental routine covered service for some unclear reason and when I reached out to inquire, customer service was trash.

That wont get of there butts and do anything. They are causing me extreme anxiety..a complete headache to deal with. Message to them: do your jobs!

well.....as nearly every single other review has stated....its amazing this company is allowed to operate. Makes you realize how little regulations there are in terms of ensuring insurance companies are holding up their end.... I had a surgery scheduled and time off work was going to be for 8 weeks. About a month before surgery i was informed by my surgeon that my surgery had to be rescheduled for a couple months later. I asked the Unum rep if i needed the doctor to refill out all the paperwork to ensure i stay on top of all... read more
