This company is the BANE of my existence. They never understand what I am trying to tell them as in regards to my leave claims. My surgery date got moved and I was on the phone for ONE HOUR trying to explain that my date of surgery was moved up. Horrible company, horrible workers. Would not recommend if you have a choice, unfortunately this the only company my employer uses.

This company consistently fails to meet deadlines, delays paperwork, misrepresents non-essential tasks as crucial, avoids accountability, manipulates and refuses to acknowledge errors, and misguides its employees.

Was in the hospital and then out of work for a month jan-feb. Tomorrow is May 1st and they still haven't made a decision. I had to beg for money just to survive from family and friends. They are not taking care of people and leaving them to fend for themselves!

Worthless disability company that my employer uses denied me for short term disability insurance because I have asthma. Wow, I have never had that happen to me with any other disability company before. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Absolute train wreck of a company! Hundreds of phone calls emails documents sent and they just keep wanting more. Good luck talking to anyone who actually knows what’s going on. Never had this problem with Aetna. Unum is a complete SCAM
