Worthless disability company that my employer uses denied me for short term disability insurance because I have asthma. Wow, I have never had that happen to me with any other disability company before. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Absolute train wreck of a company! Hundreds of phone calls emails documents sent and they just keep wanting more. Good luck talking to anyone who actually knows what’s going on. Never had this problem with Aetna. Unum is a complete SCAM

After several delays in communication and requests for an update on the status of my claim, it was denied without just cause. I'd contact a lawyer, but then I'd just end up owing more than what I'd receive from this crooked insurance company. Stay away from this unethical company! They prey on people when they're down at their worst, disgusting.

By far the worst customers service I’ve ever had. Has taken them over 2 months to try to approve 2 days of BONDING time. No communication, No deadlines, No customer service, No leadership, No drive, No work ethic. Who are they to decided if I can or can’t spend a day with my new born. This is getting beyond ridiculous scheduled to get a call from them and they’ve never reached out. Seems everyone is just sitting at their desks twiddling their thumbs and collecting a paycheck for sure a job that should be taken over by AI

They make the process of applying/receiving Short Term disability very simple. I have had to miss a few weeks of work twice in the past six months, and both times the process was very easy, and smooth.
