The Wait Wasn't too long even though the place was packed with people.
I moved here from Denver, CO. I still have my neurologist out there, we do our appointments over video. There's no way I'm letting him go! He's done so much for me! Since I moved here, I'm limited to the neurologist I can see because I have an RNS Neuropace in my head, so I have to work with someone who is trained. Me and my neurologist talked about it, and he thinks this place would be a good place to start. There are only 7 neurologist in NM trained to work with this device. Disrespectful
I moved here from Pennsylvania in the middle of seeking a diagnosis for some persistent neurological symptoms. It took a while to get an appointment but when I was able to meet with a doctor she took her time and reviewed my previous images and found something the doctors in PA had overlooked. I am thankful to have found the care I’m receiving at UNM.
My legs are messed up, I cannot stand in place (no balance) and can only walk about 50yards before my legs want to give out. Since this issue began, I've seen doctor after doctor until referred here. For over 10 years of trying to get answers here, I'm still without any type of resolution or answer. First doctor (very arrogant) early on in that time ran tests and told me he has to review and will get back to me with results.
