What a bad review accomplishes is merely to demoralize dedicated staff. So this is a good review and I wish I could remember the names of all the smiling people who meet us grumpy patients. Dr. Chang leads a great brigade. UNM is challenged by an inefficient bureaucracy. Health care in the US in general and in NM in particular is in trouble. So getting the right diagnosis takes longer than forever and without a good diagnosis it is impossible to move to another system anywhere in the world. This is the best NM has to offer.
I've been going to North Valley clinic since it opened, 10 years? The staff, nurses, pharmacists, the lab, xray and the doctors are all first rate. I'm especially grateful for my doctor, Valerie Carrejo, MD
This is THE WORST CLINIC if have been to in 40+ years. Staff are polite but the Doctors are Doolittles'. Almost a year chasing health issues. Keep getting shuffled out to specialty clinics but no diagnosis or treatment. Do yourself a favor and go to another clinic/provider or find a General Practitioner with some experience.
