Being a teaching hospital, I feel your care provider will do their best to find an answer to your health problem. If your problem turns out to be something serious, requiring a referral, then just about every specialty will be available to you.

cleaning! i just watched a nurse drop a bed pad on the floor step on it pick it up and use it on my uncle in ICU!!! the sad part she even had a student helper watching her and when i told her she acted like she had no clue what i was talking about... i feel bad that i have to leave him in this filthy situation. then a 2nd nurse was eating picking at her nose and walks in to help and didnt even wash her hands! this is sad the kind of lack of care a loved ones get!

I was worried about my son moving from the outstanding care of pediatrics to the adult world. The doctors, nurses, techs. and staff of 5E were outstanding - empathetic, helpful, caring, and kind! Thank you for taking such good care of my man-cub!

I just wish someone in the billing department knew what they are doing. I'm so tired of being double and tripled charged for the same treatment over and over again and nobody can help you because they don't know what they are doing! It's really frustrating 😤 😡😡

I could not allow this to happen. So I pulled up the UNM Hospital web site and found a phone number for the gift shop. Ms Anna Baca answered the phone. She went above and beyond in providing assistance by describing gifts to us over the phone and even taking pictures of merchandise and sending them to us so we could get the right gift for ... read more

My S/O was just in UNM-ABQ for a heart attack. I would like to thank everyone in the Cath Lab, Intensive Care and on the Cardiac floor for the excellent care, compassion, and information during this time. Had the circumstances, timing, personnel been different, Christmas would have been too sad for mere words. You guys made the difference between living and dying and we humbly thank you.
