I had a male-mastectomy on 04/01/2026 with Dr. Richard Baynosa, most of the surgery itself was alright, but my drain had slipped out prematurely and it resulted in rapid growth of the breast and I developed a large seroma in the breast that was causing pain, discomfort, and kept getting infected and draining on 04/21/2026. Ultrasound was ordered and done, no issue whatsoever with that, but then they attempted to order a drain placement to Desert Radiology which they couldn’t do. So an order was placed to SDMI instead. You know I really want to leave a bad review but can't. I feel farmed out and ignored. They didn't do the farming. Not their fault. They probably feel the same way I do. Had I felt better about my concerns being addressed they may have gotten business out of me in the future. Pretty sure severe head aches with orbital fractures, along with pressure isn't good. As a military veteran I am extremely disappointed in the doctors and associates at this location that service veterans through the community care program. As a combat veteran, I was approved for community care to UNLV Health with Dr. A.P. and her staff, for carpel tunnel surgery. However, on my second to last visit, the nurse and doctor pulled a fast one and brought out an invoice for $1100. I am being discriminated against by the staff at UNLV plastic surgery. I missed my appointment back in July and they refuse to schedule me with a different dr, just the same one who won't have another opening until "probably next year" the receptionist employees say. They are rude, yell at me, talk down to me, verbally assault me. This is ridiculous institution. There are absolutely no real risk for someone to have top surgery with a higher bmi. There is absolutely no study proveing that a bmi over 35 is at risk for extreme issues and should not be of any reason to refuse me as a patient. The doctors have been rude and nasty about these issues. If you are looking for top surgery please do not go here.
