I came here during my trip after seeing this café ranked as the No.1 on TripAdvisor, so I decided to give it a try. I’m not sure how many coffee options they offer, but the one I tried had a lovely aroma and a slightly acidic taste — perfect for those who enjoy a light, citrusy profile rather than a bold or strong one. We were greeted by the door right away by the friendly staff, already giving us a fantastic vibe. Service was quick and food was divine! we had eggs benedict with bacon and with salmon . and the best coffee.
On holiday in Christchurch and stayed at the Southwark apartments, Unknown Chapter is right on our backdoor step so was very convenient for breakfast and coffee. I had the granola breakfast and it was delicious with lots of fruit, Greek yogurt and honey drizzled on top. Coffee was very well made.
