My mother went to urgent care with a wound and was referred to UT Wound Care on February 24. I called urgent care begging for a call back from the referral a week later. We were finally able to get the wound under control on our own. I received a voicemail MARCH 25 from UT Wound Care. When I said we were referred over a month ago the woman said they were really busy and had tried calling before. When I asked when, she said March 20. Giving this place one star with a warning to all potential patients: the way they code their visits makes them OUTPATIENT SURGERY!!! It is NOT a specialist visit, something I was NEVER told. So now I'm being billed $250 per visit and they make you come back every week. I'd suggest checking with other wound care centers who don't charge you for surgery that's not done.
