I lived in Apt 23 at 542 Nord Ave, and honestly my experience was pretty disappointing overall. The biggest issues in my unit were the roaches and rats, limited parking, and dirty unit conditions. One of the biggest downsides was dealing with the property manager, Mary. She was extremely rude and difficult to communicate with during my time there, which made problems even more frustrating to deal with. My experience had some challenges at the time, but I appreciate the owner reaching out and making improvements since then. The location is great and the units are spacious, so it’s good to see positive changes being made.

If you’re looking for a place close to campus, the location is definitely convenient — only about a 10-minute walk to Chico State. I lived in the townhomes, which were pretty spacious for two people. The best part was having a backyard, which is rare for student housing. That being said, there were quite a few downsides: • Management is terrible.
