USC is a great facility. It's clean and conveniently located. Everyone who works there was great, from Dr. Moore and Dr. Thompson, to all the staff, especially my nurses, Claudia, Sandra and Ice. They were so professional and kind, and really helped me feel at ease.
I had a wonderful experience here for some abdominal surgery a couple of weeks ago. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish and I could not be happier with the care that I received here. I have not had any of the mentioned billing issues yet, but will update if anything changes. I specifically want to thank the team there: Nelsse at the front desk was very friendly and helpful (especially for very early in the morning). Service from the nurses were great, however, expect to pay almost double the quoted amount. They billed almost double what was quoted. The employees could not provide an itemized bill.
I had bilateral inguinal surgery with Dr. Koller at University Surgical Center just four hours ago, and I am already incredibly impressed. This was my first surgery, so I walked in feeling pretty nervous, but Dr. Koller immediately put me at ease. He explained everything clearly and was very reassuring. The center itself is wonderful. The nurses and front desk staff are all so caring and took great care of me. The problem comes from the 3rd party billing company that they use named Conifer Health Solutions, they have been a total nightmare to deal with. They are trying to bill me for the incorrect amount even after receiving the updated insurance payment and my insurance company calling them on my behalf.
