Good school, especially for people directly out of highschool. Some programs are great for adults returning to school. Tons of job opportunities after graduation. Previous poster clearly had a bad experience but I would wholeheartedly disagree about many of the students. Sounds more like that company had bad hiring practices. Most of the students I interacted with were intelligent and hardworking, many working their way through school unlike the UC's and USC kids. This school has horrible graduates! Learn by doing, they say. There (should be the conjugation of They are, but Cal Poly graduates spell it like this) always say we have learn by doing, but WTF does that mean? Hire better engineers from the UCs, Claremont colleges, Cal Tech, Stanford, MIT, etc. But never Cal Poly (not even the real Cal Poly).

There (should be the conjugation of They are, but Cal Poly graduates spell it like this) always say we have learn by doing, but WTF does that mean? Hire better engineers from the UCs, Claremont colleges, Cal Tech, Stanford, MIT, etc. But never Cal Poly (not even the real Cal Poly). And these students are so ENTITLED!
