Finding a good auto shop is so important and I think I got lucky with University Place Certified Auto Service. One day I'm driving, the emission light goes on and my car starts sputtering. I'm thinking O2 sensors. I called and made an appt. Dropped my car off at 8am and picked it up at noon. Turns out it was coil and plugs. Now my car runs like it's on Viagra! My car’s AC had broken and we had a trip planned to California. They fit me in on super short notice and were incredibly kind and accommodating. We were so happy to have a working AC in 90 degree weather on our trip! Can’t recommend them enough!
I took my minivan in for front/rear pads and rotors. I received a call saying all my calipers needed to be replaced and each one was an additional $200, costing me at least $1400! I did not approve the work and picked up my van ASAP. I took it to 2 other auto repair businesses and was shown how all the calipers were working properly and did NOT need to be replaced.

We looked up your records from June when you were here. and see the saved estimates in your account it looks like two estimates were made one with calipers if they were needed and one without calipers if they were not needed neither equals $1400. 00 here’s photos for your records.
Awesome service. Very knowledgeable, courteous and best of all, honest. I usually do my own work on my cars, but for those tasks I don't want to do, or that I don't have the time for, this is the only shop I trust to work on my cars.

Took my fiance's car for a tune up, brake service and oil change. Free estimate, Incredibly affordable pricing and excellent customer service. We have a Toyota vehicle and we will be switching from regular care at the Toyota dealership to U.P. Auto Care. Toyota certified mechanics here who know what they are doing. Our first experience with UP Auto was a few months ago. My son's car needed work. They were quick and reasonably priced. We were happy with their work. Yesterday, I took my van in for work. So being courteous, very well priced, and efficient was not an anomaly. This is their excellent customer service. Always.
