I was put under monthly anasthetic for over 1 yr with this clinic with absolutely zero pain relief. My physical problems were 100% missed yet rush kept shooting me up with anasthetic. Very irresponsible of Dr. Jaycox and Rush University. Other clinics managed to do the same exact treatments without anesthesia. I wonder how much money Rush made from constant anesthesia bills? Dr. Shi completed a very difficult diagnostic procedure successfully. He is skillful and caring. It is difficult being a "pain doctor" since there are so many different types and causes of pain. I appreciate his efforts. One negative: the phone system at the University Pain Center is unbelievably poor. It is common to wait online for forty-five minutes.
It was fine. Registration was very stressful! The Rep acted like she didn't want to help me be seen. She was very loud and wasn't mindful of my privacy telling me I had a HMO as if I didn't know that to the entire waiting room. My appt was at 11am I wasn't seen until after 3pm. The RN, Dr. And Assistants were professional, kind and treated me like my health was their priority.
This place has gone from great to the bottom of the barrel. No return phone calls. They talk behind patients backs as if the patient doesn't matter. They lied and said Dr. Lubenow retired when he actually quit there after 38 years. That should tell you something is wrong with the place.
