Everyone was very nice and friendly. The Dr was also friendly and he gave me answered to all my guestions. The shot seems to be working. Am very happy with the whole experience.
There was a mix-up about the appointment, the front desk staff took the time to get me seen, without hesitation. Everyone there was professional and caring. John Vargo, PA was very down to earth and explained everything to me.
After 10 weeks of frustration at another ortho facility, I met with Dr Port. I was impressed with his ability to explain things clearly and thoroughly. My surgery is upcoming and I am excited to have him fix my shoulder and get me back on track. Thank you 😊 Dr Port.
The staff is helpful and polite. Have never had a negative experience at UOC. I saw John Vargo this last visit, and as always, he was thorough and made the best recommendation for me and my issue.
I was very impressed by the friendly staff and the PA, Anthony Damin. I hardly waited to be seen. I’m not from the Altoona area and traveled about an hour - well worth the travel time. I would positively recommend University Orthopedics to anyone in need of treatment.
what a pleasure having dr.Saylor help me with my knee problem. He actually took the time to explain what was wrong and outlined options for treatment and the staff there went right to work getting approvals from the insurance company to start treatment. Simply a nice group and glad I was referred to them as a specialist.
I was given good information and had enough time to ask questions, a rare occurrence these days.
