Called in feeling bad and had a pretty negative experience with receptionist. Explained my symptoms and was essentially told to “pick one”. Was never asked for my name or student ID#. Was met with sarcasm when trying to figure out a time I could come in tomorrow after initially being told I could be seen today. I dont at all believe I am above anyone or anyone’s schedule. This is basically a fake counseling program to mark off a legal checkbox. My friend severely needs counseling, and they have been scheduling her first appointment, canceling, and rescheduling over and over for months now. Now she's on a wait-list indefinitely because they cancelled her appointment again and have no openings Tuesday through Friday anytime of day. They don't have enough counselors, and the whole program seems to be a front to pretend the university cares about their students mental health and actually provides... read more
Missed appointment, but allowed same day reschedule. Will update once appointment finishes. Edit: I was in and out within an hour including a strep test, and personal information documents. NOTE: GOOGLE MAPS HAS THIS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE CAMPUS, PASSING THE UWF BUSHES IT IS IN THE BACK OF PARKING LOT A. CIRCLE AROUND TO PARKING LOT J FOR THE FRONT ENTRANCE.
