Wildly incompetent leadership at the PT clinic.
After my first knee replacement, I chose a physical therapy provider on the basis of location. My therapist was friendly in a jokey, impersonal way, like a salesman. I was often left alone on a machine while he attended to other patients. Therapy did not go well and I left still limping and feeling unhappy. Three years later, I had the other knee done and chose the recently opened UVA Orthopedic Center Therapy Services. What a difference! After waiting over a month for an appointment they cancel my appointment for some type of outage. Never called to tell me my appointment was canceled. I drove 45 minutes to be told that it was canceled. They were supposed to call the following business day to reschedule. Never heard from them so I called back. I was told by a very rude person that it would be another month before I could be seen. Poor management.
