Everything was so efficient and everyone was very nice. Great communication, very little wait time!
I recently had a mammogram with contrast at this facility, and unfortunately, I had a very negative experience. The technologist, MARGARET GIANAKOUROS, attempted to find a vein in both of my arms but was unsuccessful, despite my veins being very visible and usually easy to access. As a result, I was left with significant bruising and pain in both arms. The nurses & staff here are amazing. They're kind, thoughtful, helpful, & easy to speak with.
I am scheduled to have a biopsy and I know 100% that I am in the best hands possible. The doctors were so sweet and nurse Emily dropped my anxiety level from a 10 to a 1 with just a short phone conversation. UVA is the best hands down.
