Uva is awesome i had heart surgery the day before thanksgiving last year. I had alot of nurses my age or even younger wed jam out to pandora. My pt was awesome, i didnt wanna do a thing tho! I didnt walk for months im home now and walking have been for a couple months. And i got my trach out at the step down hospital.. i dont remember much.. i would love to thank everyone that took care of me!! You guys are awesome!!!

I have nothing but the deepest gratitude for the care my daughter has received over the past year and a half from UVA. Dr. Brian Behm, Dr. Charles Friel and their teams have gone above and beyond to restore her health. She had surgery in December 2015 and again three weeks ago. The nursing staff on 5 West and 5 Central were awesome. This last admission she was on 5 Central for 10 days. I can't think of one negative thing to say about the time she was there. My Dad was in ICU. He had a nurse named Sarah. He adored her, though he couldn't remember her name, only "That Girl". She was excellent and we, the family adored her. She was wonderful with my Dad and took great care of him. We couldn't have asked for a better nurse to take care of Dad. I am so thankful she was with him and all of us when my Dad passed away. The nursing staff on 4 west was awesome! Carol, Maria, Lana, Monica, Matthew, Tyrone, Heather thank you for taking such great care of me. Bob in Pt and Tammie in dietary , thank you for helping me. My surgical team was great. Thank you for doing a great job putting me back together!
I have been going there since 2009. The doctors I have are great and I love everyone there for helping me face everything I have going on in my body. Thank you UVA
