Their doctors and medical care are fantastic. Their billing department is horrible. I have never had such a difficult time in my life with a person who is seemingly deliberately trying to make things go wrong. This is new. This person is using whatever influence she can to make it impossible for me to fix the problem.
This is regarding URMC Billing Dept. only--NOT the medical care. After filing a billing harassment complaint with the Integrity/Compliance Office, the matter was taken care of very quickly. As instructed, I will NOW forward all future bills to--Patient Relations rather than the Billing Dept. It amazes me that one has to file a formal complaint to get URMC Billers to do their job.
