Very convenient app, just a little hard to find
I have a 750 credit score all thanks to the credit builder program here. As a FGLI student that has to take out college loans to go to school, this was extremely helpful.
Horrific experience trying to bank with them. Only open 5 hours a day, I showed up 15 minutes after open, and noone would answer the door. We called, and we saw a kid inside get up just to hang up our call, multiple times. Inaccessible and impossible to reach, even when you’re right outside the office. Horribly ran and would not trust these people ever to help me in case of an emergency.
Absolutely terrible support. Doesn't reply to my email or multiple follow ups for over two weeks, and nobody picks up when you call them. Avoid at all costs.
Anyone leaving bad reviews for the credit union has clearly not had to deal with a “real bank” and their frightening incompetence, absolute indifference, and callous disregard, all served with a side of zero fx’s. This is why, despite the inconvenience of having to drive to penn’s campus every time I need anything done in person, for 20 years I have continued to schlep to the SFCU with its limited hours, summer closures, weird location, teenager staff, and all the other issues, rather than a “real” bank.
