My NEURO team was Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Dr Oppenlander and Dr. Chen and the rest of the surgical staff for the Awesome job they did on me. And to the Awesome nursing staff of 4A, ANNIE, STEPHANIE, MEGAN AND JANA. Thank you all, it's staff like you that makes us the 6th best hospital in the country and I'm so proud to be a part of this great team at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
Twenty years ago I was sent to the University of Michigan Department of Neurosurgery to have a cyst removed from my spinal cord . Over the past two decades I've received nothing but wonderful care from the staff of this department. Receptionists, Men's, Pan's and Ma's all are kind and caring. They see me as a person not just a case . I now see Dr Oren Sager who oversees my pain pump placement and care. Dr.Pandie and the University of Michigan neorology department are the best.Our daughters aneurysm is completely gone after he inserted a pipeline stint in her brain aneurysm 6 months ago.We would tell everyone to go there..don't mess around with smaller hospitals.The drive is long for us but Well worth it. Love that place and Dr. Pandy

I think it is a joke. I went for a MRI Stealth and the damn Surgeon has not called me back it's been 6 weeks now I have had 7 major Strokes in the last 21/2 years an d since going to UM they have found nothing out but said I had MS by a phone call (who does that) and then said I don't have it. I am pissed been thru every test imaginable, angiogram a Spinal Tap and still NO answers. I heard it is a teaching facility but they are not learning much. Next stop I guess is the Mayo Clinic at least they have Smart Dr.s and Surgeons... read more
