Extremely long wait times even for simple outpatient procedures. Very poor communication between staff so they have the patient waiting around till they can speak to each other about anything. To get my father’s prescription sent to a different pharmacy after his surgery was a mission. The ladies are a lot nicer then some of the men staff and over all the patient care needs improve. Great hospital but horrible food taste and choice for but the patient and the family members. Also everyone here all the staff is amazing super nice, very educated. Except the security staff not all of them but the majority are very mean, unprofessional and disrespectful of the situation one is going when is in the hospital. Specially the one in the west wing entrance during the night shift, she is very disrespectful. Talked to me in the most impolite way possible.

This hospital is part of the Jackson Memorial Hospital system. Most people I confer with state that they prefer to go to this particular hospital. Being that it is a" teaching" hospital, many of the doctors/nurses are very dedicated and esteemed in their specialties. The interns are very dedicated and treat the patients with the knowledge and care their mentors have instilled in them professionally. Been here many times since my accident. And is great the staff amazing and communicate well. Now the last got confused they brought me surgery and they took me to radiology department. The lady taking care was off including her english. I had to speak to in spanish to clear things. Which I came for important surgery and they where to do the wrong thing. Finally I called my last phone number and they came and took me to the third floor and surgery was done. But they still have me and yws
