This afternoon we came to the University of Maryland's Urgent Care in Pasadena, Maryland for a serious cut to to my husband's thumb. This was a table saw incident which cause three deep wound cuts. We were immediately cared for by the triage nurse, Destiny who was professional, efficient and showed concern. The office assistant also was very helpful. I had an AMAZING experience during my recent visit to urgent care. Went in on a Sunday afternoon and was seen IMMEDIATELY. Was greeted by Destiny with a smile and she gathered info on my issue. Was then seen by Abu, the PA. He quickly assed my situation and provided options for the best course of remedy. His assessment and plan for treatment were spot on. I recently brought my child to this medical facility and was extremely impressed with the level of care we received. The front desk staff was welcoming, the medical team was knowledgeable and attentive, and they treated my child with genuine compassion. They explained everything clearly and made sure all of our questions were answered. It’s not always easy finding providers you trust with your children, but this team exceeded our expectations.
