Lexington is so blessed to have such a beautiful place to walk, look at the beautiful flowers, see gorgeous butterflies, birds, and other wildlife, and simply enjoy nature. The Kentucky Children's Garden is a wonderful place to bring young children and Emma Trester-Wilson, the KCG coordinator, always has fun activities and events for them. I strongly encourage everyone to support this Lexington treasure!
Love walking at the arboretum, the gardens are unique and beautiful, especially in the spring. Just be aware that the facilities are only open while most people are at work. Instead of building a nice permanent standing restroom facility similar to a campground, they put the restrooms in a building they lock around 4. So a port-o-let is the only bathroom.
