Great basic path to get out for a walk.
Everything!! But today I attended the Craft a Kissing Ball Workshop and Tree Walk. It was 100% awesome. Staff was knowledgeable, welcoming and professional. Volunteers were pleasant, engaged, and very helpful. Lots of planning had occurred in their implementation of the class. I would recommend the class for a variety of individuals and families. It was superior community education and recreation. I failed to fill out the class evaluation but would have given it highest marks in all categories. Thank you.
The arboretum offers so much for the Lexington community and beyond. They have miles of trails with varied terrain so it’s a great place to exercise. Their native/exotic plant collection has thousands of species and is awesome for people interested in wildlife/photography. The children’s garden is great for kids and events like the Arbor Day celebration are family friendly, entertaining, and educational. If you live in Lexington or are visiting you should definitely check this place out.
Beautiful grounds, wonderful keepers, fun trails, great for pics and dogs!!
Recommend there not be parking guard with vehicles completely blocking the entire entrance leaving no place to turn around after having committed to a turn across the road. There was no sign and the parking guard had no information. Not to mention there was no parking to access the event I.e. Arbor Day.

An expanse, wonderfully diverse in flora, fauna and opportunities to take in the beauty of nature, understand its' vital role and help ensure the lands of the commonwealth and its' bounty of wildlife prosper.
Nice place walk and take children there to look at very exciting things 🌹
