The KU Med system is rancid, full of employees that are there only to get discounted IUI and in vitro procedures themselves. This is a horribly unprofessional group of individuals that have no clue how to operate as a professional organization. After an insane amount paid, I rate this group as a 0 out of 10. You have better luck throwing cake on the wall to see if it sticks.
I had switched to KU after having a very disappointing experience at another local private fertility clinic in Olathe that has recently joined AdventHealth. I had an incredibly disappointing experience at KU REI. I’ve been with them 9 months and have yet to have a positive pregnancy test. I’ve been diagnosed with “unexplained infertility” and had to ask for more tests, scans etc. to be completed prior to just trying IUI or IVF blindly. The amount of times I got ZERO answers to my questions is off the charts, where Doctor would actually say “I don’t know”. Chat GPT was more helpful than this clinic and their staffing. We had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Courtney Marsh at KU IVF. Her communication style was dismissive and frustrating. She spoke over us repeatedly, contradicted information we had already been given by her own nurse practitioner, and made us feel like our appointment was a waste of time. At one point, she flatly stated there was “not much chance” we could get pregnant at age 42. We are now pregnant.
