My first experience with this consulting center was bad. The therapist I met with felt more like reading machine than a professional providing care. The entire session was dominated by rigid disclaimers and repeated attempts to collect personal information in a mechanical, impersonal way. This was completely unacceptable. Their contract felt blatantly predatory and designed to protect them, not the people who come in for help. I was seeking support during a crisis, but after reading the contract it came across as: they can do whatever they want, and your “rights” are basically just requests they can ignore.
