The doctors, nurses, and staff at the UGA Health Center have always taken great care of me. They’re professional, kind, and genuinely committed to helping every patient. I trust them. I’ve often had a really good experience visiting, and even when the wait is long, it’s clear it’s because the doctors take their time and give each person the attention they deserve. The whole place is well‑run, and I’m grateful for the care they provide. They provide much more than a typical college health center does.
Absolutely terrible experience, do not help at all with immediate pain. Just tell you to take Advil and get over it. Also they charge an extensive amount of unknown fees continually. I’m still getting bills 2 months later that I was told would be paid for. Awful experience.
Had to get my blood drawn at the lab which I really hate, but the nurses were so awesome! Mrs. Hood took my blood and she helped by talking with me while she was doing it. When I said I felt like I was going to pass out after, she gave me orange juice and another nurse gave me a cooling pouch thing to put on my head. It was a really nice experience for having to do something that scares me. Mrs. Hood from Lab is awesome!
